Chris (Chairman of BAS) has finally put a pen to paper in a new book all about the Lea Valley.

The Lea Valley Volume 1, was launched on the 22nd of November 2025 at Johnson Ross tackle in Hoddesdon, Hertfordshire - what better place being bang in the heart of The Valley.

Produced and printed by DaveDog Publications (Stuart Brookes), the book is a must-read for anyone currently fishing or looking to fish in the area.

Included in the book are thirteen chapters from Lea Valley anglers old and new. There are some brilliant stories in which we can all relate too.
