Baitcraft Angling Society re-wrote the rule book last season . . . . .
Last year, we decided to make acquiring a Baitcraft Angling Society membership as fair as possible for all anglers. Annually, all current members receive an invite for the following season. After this, we would normally move onto our waiting list. Previously, Baitcraft Angling Society had in excess of three hundred people waiting for a BAS membership. From 5th December 2025, Baitcraft Angling Society introduced a new deposit system allowing new members to pay a deposit^ allowing them to secure membership for the 2026/27 season. This proved to be extremely popular and due to angler demand, we have opened up the deposit system early to secure a membership for the 2027/28 season. Deposit payments are limited and will operate on a first-come, first-served basis. Once we've reached our membership target for the up-and-coming 2027/28 season, the deposit system will be removed, unfortunately, there will be no further opportunity to acquire membership until our winter tickets are released in September 2027.
Due to the level of enquiry we receive via our website and through social media marketing - we advise you to secure your membership TODAY to avoid disappointment.
Yearly membership for the 2027/28 season runs from 1st of April 2027 to 31st March 2028 (all venues). There are no additional charges to fish any of our waters once membership has been paid in full.
