Hooks Marsh.
Fishers Green Consortium - included in our annual membership.
A good tench water with a good chance of double figure fish, however, the lake is challenging. Also produces some great carp and bream. The carp stock is relatively unknown, but there have been reports of fish being banked at over 45lb. Decent shoals of roach are present, but location is key. Pike fishing in winter can be very productive. Night fishing allowed on this all-year-round fishery.
Please note: To fish this venue, you will need your membership card and a valid fishing rod licence for the quantity of rods you will be using. There are one, two and three rod licences available. Please visit our LINKS page, here you will find a link direct to the Government website. Licences are also available from Royal Mail post offices.

Further information:
Very similar to Seventy Acre in its history, it’s highly remembered for the great stock of tench, however, it still holds all species as Seventy Acre. In general, it has more plateaus and certainly has as many islands and bays.
The two lakes are in fact connected by a pedestrian bridge crossing the link, this bridge is the continuation of Cadmore Lane from Cheshunt and can, if required, be reached on foot parking the other side of the railway line.
The pit is open all-year-round, 24 hours a day.
