Angling is available in the southern area of the lake. Large carp to well over the 40lb mark, plus a good head of bream and tench. Pike fishing in winter is always worth a go with some amazing fish to be had. Night fishing allowed. Close season on this venue is in force.
Please note: To fish this venue, you will need your membership card and a valid fishing rod licence for the quantity of rods you will be using. There are one, two and three rod licences available. This section of the pit runs from the east side of the weir round to opposite the aqueduct lock on the canal over the other side of the river, there is a fence marking our boundary (Fishers Green). A new bridge has been constructed to the island.
Several well used swims on the pit show the popularity of this water and these areas are the ones where fish may expect the dinner table to be laid.
The pit is open all-year-round, 24-hours a day.
